Avon/Empowerment Fund & Breast Cancer Awareness

Information pamphlets on breast cancer and domestic violence will be available.  Various Avon products are sold to benefit organizations that research breast cancer or prevent domestic violence.  Samples of these products will also be on display.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast

Youth mentoring organization that reaches out to local youth in need of a Big Brother or Big Sister.  There will be face painting and temporary tattoos at their booth along with information about the organization.

ChildVoice International

ChildVoice International is a non-profit with a mission to "restore the voices of children silenced by war."  Their current efforts are in the war-torn area of northern Uganda.  Help support this cause by purchasing necklaces and bracelets made from recycled paper.

Families First Health and Support Center

Families First will have an activity for children at Market Square Day-making wind sticks from wooden paint-stirring sticks and fabric ribbons.  Information on what Families First offers will be available for the parents.

Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse

Crafts such as hand-made textiles, jewelry, baskets and bead work made by women in Kenya and Uganda.  Proceeds of the sale of these items is given back to the women of Kenya and Uganda, increasing their financial security.

Kiwanis Club of the Seacoast

The Kiwanis Club will be back to Market Square Day with their popular game Duck Pluck.  Children can choose a rubber duck from the pool and win a prize!

The Music Hall

The Music Hall is a nonprofit performing arts center that entertains 100,000 patrons, including 20,000 school children, annually with acclaimed film, music, theater, and dance performances.

New England Seacoast Holistic Health Association

NESHHA is an organization of healthcare professionals united to promote, teach and support the philosophy of holistic healthcare as an exemplary practice, which seeks optimal integration of body, mind, emotion and spirit.  Members of the organization will have business cards on hand along with information.

New Hampshire Astronomical Society

Stop by and learn about space and membership in the New Hampshire Astronomical Society.  If a sunny day, there will be active solar displays.

Portsmouth Community Radio

In addition to managing one of the stages at Market Square Day, WSCA will host a booth with information on membership, program schedules and will be selling t-shirts, mugs, CDs and tote bags.

Gather information about the Portsmouth Democrats and pick up materials about Democratic candidates.

Portsmouth Public Works Department

Portsmouth Public Works will be offering public education on groundwater protection, water conservation, recycling, storm water pollution and will also be available to answer questions on general public works issues.

Salvation Army

Seacoast Area Feline Education and Rescue, Inc. (SAFER)

SAFER is a cat rescue organization based out of Hampton, NH.  Their booth will feature information about cats as well as cat supplies (toys, gifts and crafts).

Seacoast Crime Stoppers

Sounds of the Seacoast Women's A Capella Chorus
