Parking for Children's Day

With the exception of closures on Pleasant Street (from State to the Square), the Bank of America parking lot, Market Street spaces from Market Square to the Steamship Co. (North side), and the lot at the intersection of Hanover and Bow/Market, parking is available throughout the Downtown Business District.

The rate for the Hanover Street Parking Garage is $3.00 from 11:00am - 4:00pm on Sunday, May 1st, Children's Day.

Other Public Parking lots include the lot on Woodbury adjacent to the Vaughn Mall, just across the street is the Bridge Street lot and the lot located at the intersection of Parrot and Pleasant.

Parking meters are in effect on Sundays from Noon - 7pm in Portsmouth.
